Augie plays softball throughout the whole summer and I go to his games and knit on the sidelines. I thought that a hat that looked like a baseball would be a cute idea. This is what I came up with.
The red stitching was very hard to get right. I was staring at a baseball forever and he had to give me a few pointers too. I didn't realize that a baseball has one continual stitch that goes all around the whole ball. Ok so I am not an athlete by any means. I couldn't hit a beach ball with a fat plastic bat.
