The cupcake hat is a huge hit! One teacher at our school put a coffee can under the cupcake hat and sewed candles to the top so when a student doesn't have anything special brought in for the birthday, the students can still sing and "blow out" the un-lit candles. It's really cute on too :-) I pieced several patterns together to make this hat the way that I wanted it and I'm happy with the end result.
